We are a Southern Baptist Church and a member of the Baptist General Convention of Texas. Our church is the oldest Baptist church in our county having been established in 1855 by eleven charter members. Our long history of service to our community is a testament to the eleven visionaries who founded our church as well as the leaders who came after them. We are a church that might be considered “traditional” when it comes to our worship, teaching, and methods. We use the projection of hymns as our main source of worship music, but also frequently employ our worship band, as well as ensembles, groups, and individuals. In many ways we easily fit into the category of “traditional” yet regularly welcome the use of whatever talents, instrumentation, and abilities that God has given in order to bring honor and praise to His name. We believe in its simplest form that we are called to lead lost souls to Christ, and then lead them as well as current believers into a deep walk with Jesus. We look forward to your visit to our church and perhaps becoming an important part of our ministries and outreaches to Milford, and the uttermost parts of the world.
